Our school's success story

During the school year 2012-13 our school took part in various competitions and gained prizes and honorary distinctions in almost all of them.

1) Poetry Competition of 1st High School of Evosmos and Municipality of Kordelio - Evosmos (Thessaloniki)

2) Poetry Competition of Northen Greece Publishers 

Our student D. Koutsos was honoured for being placed among the fifty best poets (1000 High School students throughout Greece participated in the above competition) 

3) Script Competition

 Our student V. Kotsopoulos won the first prize for his script "Thessaloniki: 100 years of events" which wili be turned into a movie and also honourary distinction for his script titled "A Homeric Class".

Our students M. Tastioglou and M. Trantopoulou shared the third prize with students of Intracultural Lyceum for their script "One day=One century".

4) Workshop " CSI: Science helps crime investigation'

Two teams from our school (consisting of: S. Vasiliadou, S. Galatianou, E. Doumparatzi, D. Coulouris, L. Chrissi, E. Devetoudi) got honoured.

5) Last but not least, our website participated in the 6th Greek Educational Website Competition and won the third prize among High Schools in Greece. On launching our website, the following basic criteria have always been our main targets;

a) the constant updating of our website

b) the journalistic coverage of our school activities

c) the presentation of our students projects and distinctions

d) the supply of valuable educational material for our students.
